What you least expect

You know how the saying goes, expect the unexpected? Well, sometimes I believe that some people don't heed that warning. But oh well, I guess thats their own fault. Not to mention heed warnings of the good and bad in people, to be fair everyone has their perks and qerks.

Oh well, anyway, some people's far dedication to things beyond life itself is still a mystery to me. For example I've got a buddy who recently got dragged into world of warcraft. At first... it seemed like a normal gaming habit of enjoying a game, but now he's just being sucked into it completely. To a degree I feel sorry for him but I don't. But he's throwing his life away at the rate he continues to play that game. He disregards work, school, friends, family, the works. But if he does... he'll join the legions of people who have become addicted to gaming and MMO's. Saddly I knew too many, I just don't want him to become apart of that, because the kid has a hell of alot going for him in life.

Sometimes makes me wonder and shiver a bit if I didn't have some of the things happen to me which changed my perspective on gaming about a year or so ago. Plus not to mention the final peices of the puzzle that just drove me away from general online gaming in general. Sad to say I was never a console gamer... but saddly enough, I might just start picking it up. I honestly think if Nin heard that, he'd probably cream his pants and say get a 360. *shrug*

Eh, whatever, I think I'll just be keeping the computer and stuff off more often if anything. Heh, an excuse to finally contribute to help "saving" the enviroment, save POWER! I mean, I really don't have much of a reason or want to be on it much anyway, since I have alot of things to be taking care of now, work, school, and if anything good friends. :)
