Just a test entry for Candie's layout.
I promised Candie I'd make her a ROS layout featuring her artwork. I've been working on this little by little at work ... and I'm finally done. Sorry it took so long, hun.
It's optimized for Firefox, so IE users will see some minor quirky slipups, but nothing too drastic.
Well, hmm. I take it back. IE peeps will encounter a problem associated the Flash player below: the PNG images seem to go out of whack when I include the Flash Fetish player on the page. I tried removing the player and my IE browser had no issues with rendering my PNG backgrounds. Also, the navigation bar is a little f'ed up in IE too, due to padding issues. VIVA LA MICROSOFT.
EDIT: I took out the Flash Player for now. Seeing the page all screwed up in IE really bothered me. Conditional comments aren't working ... blargh.
Anyway, I wanted to experiment with small text for this layout. I still think it might be a little too tiny to read, but I like it somehow. And I kinda/sorta used this grid as the framework.
The CSS validated fine, and initially the HTML was validated too ... until I popped it into ROStory. With ROS' content management system in place, there's no way this page will ever validate in HTML, lol.
Well, enough geek-talk for now. I hope Candie actually likes this thing!

I really like the small usage of colors :D.
i think the font is a little hard to read x.x; it's sooo small.. and the background makes it even harder. ><
but really neat otherwise.

also, with the sprites, when you make 'em (as well as the names) do it on a transparent background so everything will be crisp clear.
I didn't create any of the sprite graphics here. I was lazy and just took it off her page.
I like the small font, but I guess it's up to Candie if she wants to keep it or not.

I do agree its really hard to read the text is, unless theres a color that would look better on that ><;.
And I did do the sprites, and it was originaly on a transparent. But ive been looking for someone to do better ones (since i epicly fail at them :( ) N> someone to do sprites.
